The evolution of the beverage crate begins with wood and metal and, for the time being, ends, for economic reasons, with plastic. But economics is relative – what if there is a life after its existence as a beverage container, if the crate is upcycled into a fire basket after its initial use? BEER BOX, a fire basket made of solid Corten steel in its simplest form, yet amazingly versatile: The large handles scream mobility – so off to the lake. The cardboard interior also serves as a firelighter. Thanks to accessories, the crate becomes a grill or stool, and its stackability makes it equally useful for raising the fire basket or grill, as well as for storage and transport. That the crate is also an ideal advertising medium is in the nature of things, and the integrated bottle cap opener is simply a joy!
