A clean design, yet soft and pleasing. Solis is an oil lamp that's all about the flame and light. The concave lid, which encloses the wick, reflects the flame and enhances its beautiful glow. Designer Søren Refsgaard played with the contrasts of material and form in creating the design. The lamp is made of aluminum, thus drawing on Stelton's DNA. Refsgaard's organic shape, however, lends the Solis oil lamp a softness not normally associated with metal.
The Solis oil lamp consists of two parts: a holder and a lid that fit perfectly together. This is the result of Stelton's expertise with materials and a commitment to precision. A recess is located at the bottom of the holder, allowing you to lift the candle with a finger to separate the two parts. Attention! The Solis oil lamp uses 100% vegetable oil candles, which are sold separately.
